Xbox Series X|S consoles have no Bluetooth pairing for controllers at all — they only accept controllers over Microsoft's proprietary Xbox Wireless protocol — so a Joy-Con, which is Bluetooth-only, cannot connect to the console directly under any circumstance, official or not.
